I did not know this man however I have had the pleasure of meeting his neice Kristyn. From what I see and have heard He was a great man and I hate to see a good man go. I lost my father some three years ago and I do understand the pain and agony you are going through. Please remember that He is now with God and that he will always be with you all in spirit. I also hope that he and all the lost souls that passed on that day will be looking over me and the rest of the Armed forces as we try to make those who did this pay the price. Take care and God bless you and your family.

KATHY,the memorial website is a wonderful tribute to your brother, great job.I remember telling John when I die, take my ashes and spread them atop of VAIL. My only wish in life is that he could still do that. I can't imagine the rest of my life without him. For the past 20 years, I have been surrounded by great times with him and friends. Skiing,Golfing,Hamptons, my boat and Rockne sunday dinners with JUDE watching the J.E.T.S. John I can't tell you how fortunate I was to be your buddy. I know RAFE, JOSEPHINE,and myself miss you tremendously every day.I know your always looking over me, on the golf course and every thing I do. John, your in good company now with your father,BETH, and ROBERT. And you know I will always look after JUDE. Till we meet again buddy. LOVE YOU,

I've been sitting here with this blank stare. I can’t even begin. The only thing I can say is Ryan and I were robbed of you; and that my life long job will be the care and love of him and your "little sister". Remember, “Hey you Steve”, “yeah” I said, and you said, “hurt my little sister and I'll kill ya, that’s it”. Then you said, "want a beer”. Johnny, I wished I had a big brother like you -basically "no bull" and lets have fun. Hey I remember you told me the mating call of the clam! & me being a hick I didn’t know that. Whenever Kathy would tell me we have a family function to go this weekend, I'd say “is Johnny going?” If so then I'd go; if not, boy I'd fight to get out of it. You always made people smile and did you know my mom thinks you’re handsome. Although my life with Kathy and Ryan is only just beginning, yours was cut short for no reason - Johnny, your legacy will never be forgotten, and Ryan will never forget his Godfadda. God you’ve got alot of special people, Johnny is the one with the cigarette, moustache and big smile; He's there to meet his dad and sister. Bless them all for me. And please watch over us. Oh yeah Johnny go see Dale Earnhardt, he'll explain racing better than me. God Bless and Godspeed.

To all of John's family...John was his own man and he did it his own way..he had style and grace, but never lost his sense of balance...he loved a great time and usually helped orchestrate the antics!!!How can I ever forget being visited by him as "Treeman" with Brian!...we played football for Rockne, Tuns, and Libations....for what appeared to be for decades!!..."Hey 80..42in for the TD"...never goodbye...just later "Bro"....Scot

Bomber will always be your nickname for my daddy; just as "Onion Head" will always remain mine! You will be in my heart forever
