Happy Birthday up there John !!! Please look down and pray for us to keep focused on the important things in life, those of loved ones, of family, friends and life itself. You brought that out and made it evident to everyone you shared your life with. Thanks and God Bless You. Eddie

John, I will be riding in the America's 911 Ride in tribute to all who lost their lives that tragic day. You will be with me every mile. I hope you know how much everyone misses you. Please look down upon us and smile that wonderful smile of yours. I think of you often with much gladness in my heart that I was one of the lucky people to have known you. Say hi to my dad up there, okay? PS...Happy Birthday!

John, yesterday my daughter Kristen was telling me about how her school was going to remember 9-11. All of the kids were going to wear red, white and blue. Kristen asked me about you. She wanted to know when we met, how old we were, why we were friends. It was one of the hardest questions I have ever had to answer. I took a deep breath and told her all about our relationship. Today, when she goes to school, Kristen will be wearing red, white and blue; she will also be carrying the number 80 with her in your honor. Miss you Zman, love you thegeneral44.

It's been a year to the day. I never met John. Never knew he existed until after he died. But my nephew was talking to him on the phone when the plane hit his building. Not a day has gone by since then that I haven't thought of him. I don't think I will ever stop.

In one of those "it's a small world" incidents that run through life, I just found out that some one I know from work (Ed Mokarry) also knew John. Ed told me about this beautiful website memorial created for John. I wanted to add a note so that Rose, Billy and Kathy would know that Ken and I have them in our thoughts on this sad anniversary.
